Humans are interesting creatures: we spend so much time on the “what-ifs”, past failures, fears, disappointments and perceived dangers. We work ourselves into a frenzy, to the point that we throw in the towel before we can pick it up. Too many of us sit at the drawing board and, instead of designing the blueprint of our success, we erase everything because we despise humble beginnings.
Today I challenge you to get out of your own way and dare to answer to the following questions:
Your heart is a unique organ that beats life every second of the day. When it stops beating, life ceases. From the heart, life flows: both tangible and intangible. The compassion of your heart can soothe wounds and end wars. It is resilient and can be damaged, torn and mishandled, but can survive and press on.
When you put all the parts of the body together, what an amazing synergy that results. As marvelous as the individual parts are, there is a certain level that cannot be achieved unless all members are connected.
I don’t believe in selling pipe dreams: nothing worthwhile comes easy. Success, especially at higher levels, can be all consuming. During certain periods you lose sleep, sometimes friends, conveniences, security, money, time, and the list goes on. But long-term, the longer you remain content with mediocrity, the more fear becomes a cancer that eats every productive thing in your life.
Are you living the life of your dreams? Exactly how much longer can you afford to ignore your vision and what, deep down in your soul, you know you were destined to do? Forget the “after life”: if fear is the only thing that blocks your destiny, I strongly encourage you to break down the walls of your fears. The essence of you is too important to deny.
